Dave's Bio
Over the last twelve years, Dave has built a solid, dependable reputation for being one of the finest sports videographers on the planet. Dave’s talent was evident early; from humble beginnings creating his own surf TV shows for public access television in San Diego, U.S.A., Dave was soon recruited to be principal filmer for Taylor Steele’s Poor Specimen, one of the largest sports DVD producers. As their Director of Cinematography, Dave was responsible for compiling footage for dozens of surf blockbusters – films that are still regarded as industry classics. Leaving Poor Specimen in 2005 to relocate to Australia, Dave has enjoyed freelance success filming international-level sporting webcasts and compiling video marketing collateral for major clothing and footwear brands.
