Award-winning New Zealand production company Toa TV needed an experienced sports cameraman to shoot famed NZ rugby star and TV presenter, Tawera Nikau, interviewing players in and around the 2008 Rugby League World Cup grand final held in Brisbane for Maori TV’s CODE television series. When New Zealand defeated Australia 34-20 in the final in one of the greatest upsets in the history of the sport, you can bet the footage reflected this monumental feat and served as a series highlight for the top-rating CODE TV.
