After eight years editing and providing freelance journalism to a host of print and web magazines, Carolyn branched into promotions with leading youth marketing company The Shop. Seeking youth-savy copy, her input was sought on multi-tiered campaigns for major international clients like DC Shoes, Heineken, Bacardi, Paramount Home Entertainment DVD releases (Cheers, Frasier, Sex And The City, Star Trek titles, the Indiana Jones Trilogy etc), K-Swiss, Rockport, and various music festivals and sporting events (Arrival 05, the Crusty Demons of Dirt tour, Sunset Sessions), whilst copywriting for their most integral means of online promotion; The Shop international website (www.theshop.com). Duties have ranged to include:

 

  • Autonomously producing and delivering quality copy to clients.
  • Preparing, editing, and reviewing press releases, POS, and advertising material.
  • Developing advertising and promotional strategies.
