While regularly engaged with event PR in varying capacities – from press release preparation for major music events like Heineken Sunset Sessions right through to surfing events - Carolyn's past clients include Quiksilver and the Association of Surfing Professionals (for event status and behind-the-scenes web copy and photos for the Roxy Pro surfing world tour event.) She has also been involved with organising and promoting events of widely varying stature.

This includes facilitation and development of numerous sporting events, including running all aspects of the Chick Boarding For Breast Cancer Day – a high-profile snowboarding event at Perisher Blue with live music, art displays, and a charity auction to raising money for breast cancer research. As event organiser Carolyn oversaw every task of the massive project, from sourcing sponsors, insurance, location, and talent, right through to all PR for the successful two-time event. The events raised $20,000 and netted over $25K worth of publicity for the National Breast Cancer Centre, but they were also invaluable for promoting the sport of snowboarding. Carolyn also assisted the development of the Chick Sessions Wakeboarding Tour, including sourcing athletes, assisting in location and travel logistics, and raising sponsor and media awareness.
