I've been fortunate enough to travel around the world quite a few times. This photo from the previous page was taken last winter during a 2 week boat trip through the Mentawi Islands. This was my 10th boat trip to this area and I have to admit, I never get tired of going there. From what I've seen of the world, this is the best place a surfer could go. My travels have all been funded for the sole purpose of capturing the worlds best surfers at their best moments on the best waves possible.

For 7 years I was the sole camerman for Taylor Steele's Poorspecimen Productions, considered by many to be the most succesfull surf video maker in the world. As his camerman I rubbed shoulders with the world's elite in surfing and had the opportunity to visit almost every well known wave region in the world, plus many many smaller out of the way areas.

Though I've retired from my previous hectic 9 months on the road a year schedule, I do find the time to ecape on short work trips to pleasent places like Bali or Fiji and because I'm based on the Gold Coast in Australia, I'm never disapointed by the beautiful beaches layed back culture and amazing point breaks on offer .
